Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. (v. 1)

Now in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. (v. 17)

‘By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’ (v. 35)

Then they prayed and said, 'Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which one of these two you have chosen to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.' (vs 24-25)

Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. (v. 17)

So I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box as though beating the air; but I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified. (vs 26-27)
