Jesus said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy he has shown you.” (v. 19)
[Jesus] said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” (v. 34)
When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” (v. 43)
[Jesus] also said, “The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground, and would sleep and rise night and day, and the seed would sprout and grow, he does not know how." (vs 26-27)
"Let anyone with ears to hear listen!" (v. 23)
[Jesus] woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm. He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” (vs 39-41)
Gracious God,
Your Son Jesus has called us to be his friends and in friendship to love one another.
We pray that we might recognise and grasp all opportunities to grow closer to one another in your name.
"You also are to testify because you have been with me from the beginning." (v. 27)
Jesus said to him, "Go; your faith has made you well." (v. 52)
And he [Jesus] said to them, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God." (v. 11)
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (v. 3)
And he said, “Let anyone with ears to hear listen!” (v. 9)
