'I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.' (v. 6b)

'Here is my servant, whom I upheld, my chosen one in whom my soul delights. I have put my spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice.' (v. 1)

So when Pilate saw that he could do nothing but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd saying, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood; see to it yourselves.’ (vs 24-25)

Many waters cannot quench love. (v. 7)
