When Herod saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, he was infuriated, and he sent and killed all the children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under. (v. 16)
After this he [Jesus] said to him, “Follow me.” (v. 19b)
While they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he died. (vs 59-60)
And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. (v. 7)
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel. (v. 14)

The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God." (v. 30)
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness – on them light has shined. (v. 2)
But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John." (v. 13)
