'You have heard what it was said to those in ancient times ... But I say to you...' (vs. 21-22)

I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them; I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. (v. 19)

Then the glory of the Lord went out from the threshold of the house and stopped above the cherubim. (v. 18)

'Go through the city, through Jerusalem and put a mark on the forehead of those who sigh and groan over the abominations that are committed in it.' (v. 4)

Then I ate it; and in my mouth, it was as sweet as honey. (v. 3)

And when he spoke to me, a spirit entered into me and set me on my feet. (v. 2)

On the fifth day of the month (it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin), the word of the Lord came to the priest Ezekiel son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was on him there. (vs. 2-3)

'Do not think I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfil.' (v. 17)

Show me your faith without works, and I by my works will show you my faith. (v. 18)

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him? (v. 5)

You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger; for your anger does not produce God’s righteousness. (vs. 19-20)
