Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the Temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. He told those who were selling the doves, ‘Take these things out of here! Stop making my father’s house a marketplace’. (vs. 15-16)

Jesus said to them, 'Fill the jars with water.' When the steward had tasted the water that had become wine … the steward called the bridegroom. (vs. 7, 9).

When Jesus turned and saw them following, he said to them, ‘What are you looking for?’ They said to him, ‘Rabbi, where are you staying?’ (v. 38)

And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth. (v. 14).

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (v. 36)

Day and night without ceasing they sing, ‘Holy, holy, holy, the Lord God the Almighty, who was and is and is to come.’ (v. 8b)

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. (v. 13)
