The gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. (v. 18)
So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God. (v. 7)
But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. (v. 20)
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." (v. 35)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (v. 7)
Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on towards the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus. (vs 13-14)
Welcome him then in the Lord with all joy, and honour such people. (v. 29)
