Ideas for use

The repetitions of the words for this tune can be a little confusing to those unfamiliar with this classic Wesley text. The double bar lines in the music are what indicate where each new line begins. So e.g. verse 1...

Come, let us anew / our journey pursue, /
roll round with the year, roll round with the year, /
and never stand still,
and never stand still till the Master appear.

(And take note of the slurs over the quavers in the last music line, to ensure that only one syllable is sung in each case.)
