As we approach another anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the Methodist Church offers a range of service elements to aid those wishing to mark the event.

Background, with a message from Bishop Christian Alsted, who has episcopal oversight of the United Methodist Church in Ukraine.

Service elements include prayers, and feature reflections on:

  • Action

Hymn suggestions are made under four headings:

  • God’s continuing presence
  • God at work in “our fragile world”
  • Praying for peace
  • What can we say or do?
