A Prayer for Election Day

On election day, help us Lord, as we resolve to love, to pray, and vote.

Bless those who are standing,

and those who will work to ensure a free and fair election,

Be with those of us who will mark our X on the ballot paper.

Remind us that the cross we make should be an echo of your Cross,

a sign of love and reconciliation.

Help us to vote, to pray, and to love, on election day and then beyond.
