This year we have continued to reflect on environmental concerns. Among the Methodist Church in Britain partners, those in the pacific offer many resources and wisdom. This was received recently from the Pacific Conference of Churches.

Some of you may be aware of the Reweaving the Ecological Mat project of the Pacific Theological College, University of the South Pacific's Oceania Centre and PCC. The World Council of Churches held a webinar on 4 Feb 2021, which is available to watch below.
Below are publications from this project launched earlier this year by the Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum and also presented to the co-chairs of the Pacific Islands Forum 2050 Blue Pacific Continent Strategy process.
There is an anthology of visions or alternative narratives for Oceania from Pacific people; a Framework for Ecological Development and from a technical point a framework for Ecological Economics based on Intemerate Accounting.
For those dreaming, working, fighting for a better Pacific, these are essential reading.
For those struggling for a better world, these are offerings from the Pacific for your basket, to nourish, strength and maybe even guide you in our common quest.
You are all welcome to share these with like-minded, but more importantly, like-hearted people.
